Play the original Bossa Nova Pattern
Essential requirement, if you want to play authentic Bossa Nova on guitar. João Gilberto created this pattern and used it across his whole career (with lots of variations) and gave it an irresistible swing feel. For early intermediate level.

Basic shape of the
Standard Pentatonic Scale
Back to basics: This is the shape to start them all! Pentatonic Shape 1, consisting of
1  b3  4  5  b7, or C  Eb  F  G  Bb in C minor. It’s what you should learn first, before any other scales. Basic level.

The Pentatonic Challenge
Only for advanced players. This video takes you through 5 different Pentatonic Scales across the fretboard and with increasing speeds. You will have reached a significant milestone, If you can play along without mistakes.

Playing advanced solos with the m6/dom7 Pentatonic Scale only.
A clever way to use the just one PS (Pentatonic Scale) to get a handle on playing over substitute dominant chords.

Big step forward!

Playing Advanced Solos with the m7b5 Pentatonic
What if there was a way to play the minor cadence (IIm7b5-V7b9-Im6,9) with just one PS (Pentatonic Scale)? There is, and this video lets you in to the secret. For more advanced guitarists.

Escape the jail of positional playing
It’s true: you have to know your way around any position when improvising. But you also don’t want to get stuck in it. So how can you practice for ways to break out of the same position while avoiding unwanted breaks in your playing? This video shows you one way to do so.

II-V-I with a difference
Many guitarists lack flexibility with chords. This video shows you an example of a IIm7-V7-IMaj7 sequence expressed with a bunch of chords (not just 1 per chord symbol). If you are bored with playing the same chords over and over, this is for you.

Start soloing over a Blues in G
If you’re just starting out with playing the Blues, this video could provide you with some ideas as to how to get a good start. For beginner guitarists.

Blues expanded
This video is for intermediate level players. It demonstrates how to play over a F-Blues with 3 different Pentatonic Scales. As always you get the chance (and are required) to play along with your teacher.
Notation and Tab included.
