Markus plays the Standard Jazz Repertoire, including Latin (mostly Brazilian), Blues, Funk and other popular styles. He is comfortable with electric and acoustic guitars as well as picked and finger style techniques. Check out the Guitarist Page.

Markus is also a passionate teacher with decades of experience teaching all levels from beginner to aspiring professionals. He has taught extensively in Switzerland, Australia and online. More info and a showcase of the available digital teaching aids on the Educator Page.
From 2003 - 2015 he was Deputy Director of the Music School Conservatorium Bern, heading the guitar, wind and percussion sections, as well as the Jazz-Rock-Pop department for the same period.
